Umphrey’s McGee is no stranger to the Cincinnati music scene.  The band has been visiting the area for many years, and considers Cincinnati a home away from home.  The band made their way back to Cincinnati on Sunday after having just played the Dave Matthews Band Caravan in Chicago, IL the day before.  Moonlite Gardens, considered a music venue gem by Cincinnati music fans, is where the band would make a stop during their summer tour. Umphrey’s has many musical friends that call Cincinnati home.  One Cincinnati resident that made recent news in the Umphrey’s McGee world is Michael “Mad Dog” Mavridoglou.  Having recently played with Umphrey’s McGee and Huey Lewis at the Summercamp Festival in Chillicothe, IL, Mad Dog would find his way to the stage once again.  This time he would sit in for Let Em In.  In addition to Mad Dog joining the band on stage, Cincinnati’s very own Nick Blasky joined the band during to start the second set for Phil’s Farm.  The Noble Visions offers a look into an incredible night of music from Umphrey’s McGee at Moonlite Gardens.
