Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring guitar legend Jerry Douglas stopped in Cincinnati on Friday night.  The sold out performance at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati was the place to start the weekend in the city.  The band is on tour with Jerry Douglas in support of their sixth album, and their first in seven years.  Paper Airplane debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 on April 12, 2011, and is the bands first release to enter the charts in a top 5 spot.  In addition, Paper Airplane debuted at the #1 spot on the Bluegrass Album Charts as well #1 on the Country Album Charts.

Alison and her musical partners took the stage at 8pm and delivered an amazing performance for the enthusiastic crowd at Taft Theater.  The Noble Visions offers a look into the performance.  At the request of the artist, all photographers were required to shoot from the soundboard.
