The Bright Light Social Hour has visited the Cincinnati area for a couple of years now. MOTR, in Over The Rhine, has been the band’s home in Cincinnati when they visit town. Friday the band helped kicked off MidPoint Music Festival’s Summer Concert Series on Fountain Square. The four piece band, based out of Austin, Texas, blends the sounds of late 70′s rock-n-roll with a disco groove, rolled in psychedelic blues. In 2011 The Bright Light Social Hour gained national attention when they won 6 awards at SXSW, including Band of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. The Noble Visions is pleased to offer our readers with a look at The Bright Light Social Hour’s performance on Fountain Square in Cincinnati, Ohio
