Chosen by Rolling Stone as one of the “10 Must-See Acts at Bonnaroo 2012,” BIG GIGANTIC–saxophonist/producer Dominic Lalli anddrummer Jeremy Salken–made the rounds this summer on the U.S. festival circuit to rave reviews performing at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Wakarusa, Hangout, Electric Forest and Outside Lands among many others and just performed this weekend at Austin City Limits in the midst of their 45-date headlining “Uprising Tour” that will be followed by performances in early 2013 on both Holy Ship! and Jam Cruise, marking the first band to play both cruises. Their latest album, NOCTURNAL, released in January via their own label Big Gigantic Records, is currently available as a free download via their website www.biggigantic.net and has already received over 175,000 downloads since its release. With a provocative sound that’s as thoughtful as it is danceable, BIG GIGANTIC’s new songs like “Nocturnal” and “Hopscotch” weave whirling melodies into addictive beats and samples that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Kanye West or LCD Soundsystem single. Less than 400 rooms total at Dreams Tulum will be available for sale to the general public where the concerts take place. Pricing for the all-inclusive resort starts at $1049 per person for triple occupancy rooms, and $1199 for double occupancy rooms, with Oceanview rooms starting at $1499 per person. A limited number of rooms are available for families who wish to bring their children, with a complete Kid’s program offered by the resort. 4-Day Event Passes are $995 per person and include access to the concerts and the all-inclusive amenities at Dreams between the hours of 9am-4am.

This two-day street festival will take place Sept. 8-9 on three stages in downtown Dayton. A confirmed lineup is listed below with more bands to be announced in the coming weeks.

“We are very excited to add this group of talented artists to our already exceptional lineup,” said Matt Luongo, President, Downtown Revival, LLC.  “With these additions to our existing lineup, as well as one more round of bands to be announced at the end of May, we are confident there will be something for everyone at the first ever Downtown Dayton Revival and cannot wait to bring these great bands to downtown Dayton in September.”

All tickets are two day passes and are available at www.downtownrevival.com.  Early bird ticket prices are $55 and include entry into a contest for a VIP package upgrade including access to the VIP hospitality tent, invitations to a Friday night preview party, artist meet and greet, and other exciting upgrades.  Early bird tickets are limited in quantity and will be on sale until May 31st or until sold out.
